Amidst a whirlwind crazy summer of mixed emotions, let’s start off this blog post with a burst of good news…

My beautiful grandlittle is engaged! I cannot wait to go visit her and see the ring in person [it’s a gorgeous stone & design]. She will be the first of my friends to get married it looks like which means that this will be the first wedding where i will definitely know a grouping of the people in attendence my age! WOOHOO! Or at least presuming that i get invited to the wedding…. bitch better invite me :P

In other news, i went to the beach today with Dani. It’s always fun to catch up with “my senior,” but it’s crazy to believe that when i started out in the sorority she was getting ready to graduate && now she’s already started her career. My pledgesis moved into her new apartment today…yayyyy other Jess, now go get a puppy or a kitty please! Poor thing feels lonely in the new place, don’t worry Jess i’ll be there soon enough to annoy the crap out of you, that’s what pledgesisters are for!

It’s crazy, it seems like everyone is really starting something new and exciting in their lives…and then there’s me, just sitting in bed watching FRIENDS waiting for something new and exciting to happen.

1. Not having any prospect of a job atm

2. Not even being able to find any jobs that i particularly want

3. How abnormally hot it is inside the apartment & the fact that my mom will not let me touch the AC because she is convinced something is wrong with it. Umm hello mom i do know how to operate it [or at least far more than you] and me not touching it isnt going to do ANY OF US GOOD! I’m willing to bet any amount of money that as much as she complains about it she probably hasn’t called the landlord either!

7. The amount of shit i still need to unpack and organize is too damn high

It is nearly 4am and I’m still up

Why? Because my brain decided that it didnt feel like shutting off and likes to loose track of time frequently. You know i do have things to do tomorrow brain. Mehhhh stop having good ideas late at night. Why you no have good ideas during day? Y U SO STOOPIDDDD.

Legit if i was ever to become famous it would probably be from something i wrote in the wee hours of the morning. I should just work on a novel.
